I had the privilege of photographing my dear friend and sorority sister Deanna Foulks (formerly Shelton) not long before her July 5th wedding.
It was a rainy Thursday (more specifically a day full of thunderstorms and high winds!) but the people at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies in downtown Little Rock were more than gracious in letting us shoot throughout the facility – thus saving the day! (A quick note about the Butler Center – it is part of the Central Arkansas Library System and was built to provide information about Arkansas culture, history and literature. You can find out more about it here.)
This location served as a great place to shoot in because of the wonderful natural light coming in from the Center’s oversized windows and because the modern decorum served as a great backdrop to Deanna’s beautiful all-lace dress. There was even an art gallery!
Now on to the highlights of our shoot:
Cheers to a beautiful bride and an even more beautiful marriage!
