How can I book a shoot?
To book the time and date you want for your session, you must pay the non-refundable session fee that I’ll send you once we chat on the phone and confirm the date. After that, I will follow up via email and/or phone and send any necessary additional documents and information to make your session SPARKLE!

You can find the prices of each of the sessions we offer here on the Investment page ;)

What does the session fee cover?
The session fee covers the allotted time frame of your chosen photo session, your pre-shoot consultation, and your post-shoot ordering consultation. Upon receipt of the session fee, your photo session date is secured!
Who picks the location of the shoot? Me or Kortney?
Choosing the location of your shoot is something we collaborate on together! If there is a certain place that makes you swoon, bring it up during your pre-shoot consultation so that we can make sure it will serve us the best on your shoot. If you’re fresh out of ideas, fear not – I have lots of great locations to choose from!
How far in advance do I need to book a shoot?
It’s always best to allot plenty of time for your session to ensure you’ll get your order back in a timely manner.

If your birthday is coming up, for instance, and you’re considering booking a portrait session to celebrate, it’s a good idea to book the session 4-6 weeks before your birthday so that your prints can be edited, ordered, and delivered back to you in time.

Seniors should allot even MORE time before their graduation date! It’s common to take senior portraits 8-10 weeks before graduation, although taking them months before is a recommended time frame, especially when you must factor in when yearbook photos, yearbook ads, and graduation invitations must be sent out.

What is a pre-session consultation and why do I need one?
The pre-session consultation is essential because this is the time we collaborate on tailoring your photo session to fit you to a ‘T’. During our consultation, we discuss everything from what you’d like to do with the final images and prints, the best clothing choices for you, and the perfect shooting location.
What type of photography do you specialize in?
I specialize in lifestyle portrait photography. Lifestyle (I use this term interchangeably with “editorial”) photography focuses on the natural elements of photographic storytelling and often includes what I like to call “anti-posing” – poses that have a more natural, candid feel to them. Because of my style of photography, I will constantly talk to you throughout the shoot to make sure you are as comfortable as possible – which will inevitably be captured on camera!

I do shoot small, intimate (100 guests or less) weddings as well as engagement and bridal sessions. To inquire about pricing and product collections for these types of shoots, please Contact Us!
